HARMAN ANNOUNCES INKJET ‘ROLL OUT’
* New HARMAN PHOTO inkjet media to be made available in large-format rolls
HARMAN technology has announced official launch-plans for a trio of large-format rolls of its new HARMAN PHOTO MATT FB Mp professional inkjet media, following the successful launch of A4, A3 and A3+ sheets in February.
The 17”, 24” and 44” rolls will be available to purchase from April, allowing printers and photographers to generate large-scale photographic prints on the revolutionary inkjet paper. The rolls will be precisely the same product as the individual sheets – boasting a real photo baryta layer for enhanced colour brightness, archival properties and tonal range.
Howard Hopwood, marketing director at HARMAN technology commented:
“Throughout the development of the new HARMAN PHOTO range, we have always listened to the feedback of customers and tried to deliver what they are looking for from a premium quality inkjet media.”
“Since the beginning of our research, there has been a clear demand from photographers and photographic printers for a large-format roll of this product; and as such, our 17”, 24” and 44” rolls will be made available in the Spring.” He added.
HARMAN has developed unique anti-curl technology at its plant in Mobberley, Cheshire, UK – which is incorporated into the manufacturing process to ensure the paper lies completely flat before, during and after printing. The paper is also manufactured in a heavy 310gsm stock, to help recreate the feel and essence of a traditional photographic print.
