HARMAN TECHNOLOGY ANNOUNCES INKJET PLANS
HARMAN technology has confirmed it will enter the photographic inkjet media market this year.
Photographic imaging specialist HARMAN technology Limited is set to enter the inkjet media market with a pioneering range of professional photo inkjet paper. Although full details of the range are being kept under wraps, the products have been engineered using materials and technology evolved from the traditional photography process.
Responding to widespread anticipation, Marketing Director at HARMAN technology Howard Hopwood stated:
“I can now officially confirm that HARMAN technology will launch the first products in a range of professional photo inkjet media over the coming months. The range has been in development for some time, and we are now in the very final stages of that development.”
“Whilst we can’t provide too much detail at present, the products will incorporate technology and materials borne from our heritage in traditional photography; technology and materials that will be unique to our products within the inkjet media marketplace.” He added.
Final testing of the products is now underway, and a staggered release programme has been planned for a range of six varied media. Official launch dates and more detailed product information will be released by Harman technology in the coming weeks.
